Mend our Mountains

Mend Our Mountains: Make One Million is a campaign led by the BMC to raise money to repair paths in all 15 of the UK's National Parks.

It's a call to action to everyone who values the hills, mountains and landscapes of Britain. It aims to galvanise mass support for things we all use: the paths, bridleways and bridges which underpin our experiences in the great outdoors. Through a year-long appeal we aim to raise £1 million in total for a range of vital projects within the UK’s entire family of 15 National Parks.

Headline sponsorship of the appeal is generously provided by two of Britain’s leading outdoor retailers, Cotswold Outdoor and Snow+Rock and the campaign has the support of National Parks UK and the individual National Park Authorities.

There are individual projects in the Lake District, Peak District, Cairngorms, Yorkshire Dales, South Downs, Snowdonia, Exmoor, New Forest, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, Dartmoor and Brecon Beacons National Parks, as well as a uk-wide appeal.
